Four questions sellers should ask their potential agents in this market.

When you’re interviewing agents to help you sell your home, you want to find the most experienced one who can help you get top dollar in this market. Here are four questions that you should ask your potential agents:

1. Are you listing-heavy, or do you mostly represent buyers? That’s important because getting homes to the closing table and working with buyers are two different skill sets.

2. What has been your experience dealing with multiple offers? There are lots of tricks on both sides of the transaction. Sometimes an offer that looks good on the surface is bad when you take a closer look. You need somebody who has experience dealing with those situations.

“Find the most experienced agent who can help you get top dollar.”

3. What marketing do you do besides simply putting a home in the MLS? You need a social plan, offline plan, flyers, signs, etc. Ensure your agent has all those plans in place.

4. What kind of reputation does this agent have? Are they easy to work with? What do their reviews say about them? Check them out on Google and Zillow to see what their past clients have said about them.

These questions are very important because this market has changed a ton in the last three years. If you have any questions or if you’re looking to sell your house, and don’t hesitate to reach out to me by phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you.
